Simply comfortable - The new kieffer Saddles with the innovative "kieffer easy fit system"

The recently developed "kieffer easy fit system" by German saddle manufacturer
Georg Kieffer, Munich, impresses through its innovative technology and practical
function.
The most important thing to horse and rider is a well fitting saddle. For years, the
kieffer saddlery has been concerned with the problem of optimum saddle fit and, with
the new "kieffer easy fit system", applies the results of its work. Due to a new
technical development integrated in the area of the tree tips, the intelligent saddle
system can independently adapt to changes of coat or slight fluctuations in the muscle
conformation in the horse's scapula due to training or seasonal fluctuations. In
particular for horses with hollow shoulders, saddles which are equipped with this
system yield improved results with respect to saddle fit.

The "kieffer easy fit system" however does not replace the basic adaptation of a new
saddle to the horseback, that is, adjustment of the gullet plate and the appropriate
saddle flocking by a qualified dealer or saddler.
In future, customers can rely on the "kieffer easy fit system" to ensure
the principal, correct saddle fit, accommodating minor changes in the horse's scapula.
Moreover, the improved anatomical pressure pattern of the "kieffer easy fit system"
may also promote muscle construction in the area of the trapezium.

At the same time, riders benefit from the new system in terms of a more comfortable
seat sensation. Since the gullet plate is mounted across the saddle tree, the result is a
slightly narrower pommel with the rider sitting more comfortably in front. Because the
gullet plate is recessed into the saddle tree, it does not constrain the rider in any
way.
As soon as of January 2010, the "kieffer easy fit system" is available fitted with the Exclusive saddle tree; retrofitting, however, is not possible.
